**FOR LEASE** Windwalkers Misty Morning AKA “Misty”

Misty is a 10 year old Morgan Mare. I have owned Misty since she was 6 months old and have done all her training from start to finish. She is my pride and joy and the love of my life. Misty has been teaching lessons for many years now and is always gentle with new students but athletic enough to really challenge more experienced riders. Misty is the epitome of the term “bomb proof”. She’s an amazing little mare who can do it all and is the center of my lesson program. See more pictures of Misty and her students in my gallery.

Kidd at Ashwood Farms

Rest in Peace – NS Bolden Foxy AKA “Kidd”

My beloved Saddledbred gelding. Kidd had a wonderful personality and was always kind and loving when I needed him most. He was over 16 hands tall and a beautiful sorrel with four white socks, a blaze and a wishbone shaped patch on his belly. He LOVED anything sweet and loved to harass barn cats. One day we were out walking together and it had just been pouring down rain the previous day. As we approached a ditch with some water in it he began to act up and make a fuss. I couldn’t understand so I went to walk ahead of him only to find a HUGE hole hidden by the freezing water. We could have both been seriously injured that day had Kidd not stopped me. Kidd always had the best judge of character and always protected me. Kiddo, I love you forever, I’ll always miss you and never forget you.

Howly in the Trailer

Kidd’s Howly Spirit AKA “Howly”

Howly is a 3 year old Cremello, Quarter Horse Gelding. He has a wonderful, sweet personality and LOVES being scratched. Howly was an unexpected surprise for me. A friend of mine rescued him and was keeping him at her farm in Lewisburg. I then came across him and fell in love, even in his terrible state. I have since taken many measures to improve his health and clean him up. Though he is not quite ready for lessons he has a lot to teach students about attitude and horse care. My hope for him is to someday use him as an advanced dressage and jumping horse and of course for my students to learn from and watch as he grows into a beautiful healthy horse.

Lark

14 year old Thoroughbred mare. Lark was rescued and is currently rehabbing with me over the summer.
